What Is Slightly Burnt is Mostly Edible

What isn't burnt (to a crisp) is (still) edible. In my early culinary adventures, the diners have often been forced to stomach food that has been too well done. Not surprisingly, this has not led to any love for Cajun or blackened cuisine. The perfect apron to let others know that the meal may be less than perfect!
