Where is it
This is an agency feature. Go to your Agency > Settings page and you should see the "Stock BG" tab:
What are these for?
This is classic stock photography. Our initial intention is to provide these background images for use in preparing custom cover images for your Zazzle products. But they can also be useful for creating social media posts or other advertisements.
Consider using our Cutouts feature to get source images to place on top of these backgrounds. Then adjust lighting and add shadows to better match them. And add text and other details as needed.
Don't forget that we also have our stylish social media templates too. A fast and easy way to repackage your products for Pinterest, Facebook, and so on.
Premium feature
This is a Premium agency feature. Basic agency users will also be able to search for and preview these images. But they will see watermarks over the high resolution versions. Premium agencies will not see the watermarks.
Where do these come from?
These are mostly synthetic images rendered using Midjourney and other image generation software. But we do modify some of them to better suit our purposes for staging. And in some cases we construct these entirely by hand.
What are my rights for using these?
We regard this collection as generally protected by our copyrights. We grant our Premium agencies nonexclusive rights to use these for creating promotional materials for their own stores and products.
But you are not granted a right to distribute these for free or for pay to anyone beyond your agency for use with your stores. Doing so would be a violation of our terms of use agreement.
Not that under American law there are limits to what we can copyright. Image content generated by software cannot be copyrighted per se. But any improvements made by human effort can be copyrighted. Some of our stock images have been hand edited and are thus at least partially covered by copyright. But keep in mind that you are also subject to our terms of use agreement, which goes beyond the basics of copyright norms. As such you should still regard all of the stock images herein as fully protected.
