Back in the backyard are my FOY adult White-Crowned Sparrows, which showed up in mid-April 2016. The male (pictured here) loves to sing from the pear tree (and anywhere else in the neighbourhood he can find a suitable perch to blast his beautiful aria from (for which he can be forgiven his blueberry pinching proclivities), all day long, when he isn't engaged in the task of eating), but the female is a lady of few words.
