Photography by Angelandspot 2009 The camel is a vintage salt and pepper shaker that was in a $1.00 box at an auction.  It was just the right size to use as a prop without overpowering the little chick in the image.

One of my Easter Egger chicks.  Easter Eggers are chickens that lay blue, green, or pink eggs.  They are not a recognized show breed but they are fun to have around for the fun colors of eggs.  This one hatched from a green egg.

Here is a photo of one of the chicks I hatched out a few weeks ago in the incubator.  She is feathering in a really pretty gray color.  The nest is one I found in my yard this winter that a bird had used some of our horse's hair in.  I then put some of my Button Quail eggs (empty of course so they don't spoil) in it and sprayed it with a clear gloss protective coat to keep it as an indoor decoration.  I thought the nest would look cute with the chick for a few photos.
