Part brainteaser, part assemble-it-yourself art, this elegant, wildlife-themed puzzle is great for improving muscle memory.
Green-Winged Teals are the smallest dabbling ducks in North America, and they are generally found in larger numbers during fall and winter in Metro Vancouver. Though tiny compared to other ducks, they can hold their own, with an attitude that is bigger than themselves. While the females are unremarkable except for their green speculums (which are not always visible), the males sport a striking green eyestripe and cinnamon brown head. Photographed at Burnaby Lake Regional Park in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada in April 2018.
