Birding the great outdoors in the Pacific Northwest as autumn started to turn the summer green golden brought me to this trio of horses--a grey, a chestnut, and a dark bay--who clearly found the photographer so fascinating that they momentarily stopped grazing and placed themselves by the fence posts to observe me.
