WWN Beautiful Mountain Bluebird on the Tansy

A stunning male Mountain Bluebird perches on tansy in the early springtime drizzle. We are gifted with the all-too-brief presence of these beautiful songbirds at the start of spring before they head to higher ground to breed. Those stunning cerulean colors stand out on a dreary landscape, even from a distance. Photographed at Boundary Bay Regional Park in early spring 2017.
