Photo by B. Mertens during the Hawaii travel trip. The green sea turtle is one of three species living off the coast of Hawaii. The other two are the leatherneck and the hawksbill sea turtle. Like other sea turtles, green sea turtles migrate long distances between feeding grounds and hatching beaches. Many islands worldwide are known as Turtle Island due to green sea turtles nesting on their beaches. Females crawl out on beaches, dig nests and lay eggs during the night. Later, hatchlings emerge and scramble into the water. Those that reach maturity may live to eighty years in the wild.

This is our Irish Setter, Wendy Ann at the age of two. With a textured patterned wall in the background. Irish Setters get along well with children, other dogs, and any household pets, and will enthusiastically greet visitors. Irish Setters are an active breed, and require long, daily walks and off-lead running in wide, open spaces.

The Gold Dust Day Gecko is originally from Madagascar and has been introduced into the Hawaiian Islands and the southern Seychelles. Also be found in Australia and New Zealand. The gold dust gecko is light green to yellow-green in color. There are three red teardrop markings that are quite long and dotting down their backs. They have light blue coloring around the eyes and a slightly flattened tail.. Contact me if you would like a custom-made product just for you. It is like heaven is shiny on our dog. Sunbeam filtering through the window and shining on our German Shepherd Buddy. Interesting two photos that we took during the summer.
