Whimsical and wintery, this Christmas ceramic ornament features an owl in a forest with Christmas lights and snow. In a powdery snow, the words "Merry Christmas" wish the recipient of your gift or card a happy holiday season. On the back, you can customize this ornament in several ways. Include a salutation to greet your recipient. Next, write them a special message. Finally, sign off with an appropriate closing. You can also change  fonts and text sizes! 

This ornament matches a related card design in my shop. I hope you will check it out. 

I took the photo of this owl in late fall, so to create the image you see before you required several steps. A composite was created using an AI-generated woodland background, and on top of this, I used a soft overlay of snowflakes. For the lettering, I worked in Photoshop to select a strong but simple font and applied an action to outline it in "snow." I hope you love it!

Customizable design features a cute rabbit who found refuge in our backyard for much of the summer last year. On some days, I even found him sleeping behind our coneflowers with his back against the fence. 

Though we didn't see him much after the summer, I thought a cutout and reimagining of him for winter would be a cozy, cute reminder of the warmer months to come!

You can customize this ornament in several spots! On the front, change the text to a name, pick a different seasonal greeting, or highlight the year or a special event. On the back, include the salutation to greet your recipient. Next, write them a special message. Finally, sign off with an appropriate closing. You can also change the color of the banner on the front, the color of the background on the back, fonts and text sizes!

Christmas Chipmunk awaits the time when he can open his presents under the Christmas tree as he wears a Santa hat of his own!

I photographed this adorable chipmunk one day on my backyard steps as he came to eat some seeds I'd left nearby. His little paws looked like they were asking nicely for some more. Who could resist? 

The back allows you to leave a short message for the recipient or about your event.

The front is a photo cutout and edit, with the Christmas tree and hat used and manipulated with permission to fit the overall style of this wintery design. The back features multiple items used and manipulated with permission to fit the style as well.

The state outline of Ohio, a background of buckeye leaves, a cardinal (our state bird), and buckeye nuts themselves all adorn this spirited Ohio Christmas ornament. Leave the "Made with Love in Ohio" message on the back or include a quick note of your own. Include your last name and the year, and you have a keepsake your recipient will adore for years to come!

This variation is created primarily for those with red-green colorblindness. There is another version with the front background in red if you would prefer.  I hope you will take a look in my store!

Cardinal and Buckeyes Ohio Christmas Ceramic Ornament

In a snowy woodland, a deer wears a Christmas Santa hat to stay warm amongst the falling snowflakes. A red stripe with bold white text allows you to customize a short phrase on the front of this ornament, which is great for a customized gift for your loved one. You can customize this ornament in several spots! On the front, change the text to a name, pick a different seasonal greeting, or highlight the year or a special event. I took the photo of this deer this past spring, so to create the image you see before you required several steps. A composite was created using an AI-generated woodland background, and on top of this, I layered the Santa hat and a windy swoop of snowflakes. Finally, I edited them all using various filters (including an additional hint of snow) and highlights to create the final look. I hope you love it!

Spread a little Christmas cheer with these adorable backyard cuties!

This cute rabbit found refuge in our backyard for much of the summer last year. On some days, I even found him sleeping behind our coneflowers with his back against the fence. 

The squirrel made me laugh as he pondered me. I felt like he was asking for something to eat. I am so glad I was able to give it to him with this design! :D 

With a small space on the front side with the rabbit, you can include a year or even monogram. With a larger space on the back, a first or last name would fit well.

Glitter Sunflower Mother's Day Monogrammed  Accessory Pouch

This oversized Valentine's Day card features a Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon on a soft purple background in a watercolor style. After the holiday, the large, pretty simple floral print is suitable for framing. 

The inside message reads, "Love grows. And each day, my love for you grows stronger. Happy Valentine's Day." This message is customizable, making this large greeting card perfect for a variety of occasions and sentiments. 

If you change the message, be sure to change the customized text on the back, which details the holiday and year for the card. For many years, I have recorded this on the back of cards I give (and often those I receive) to more easily track time. Watercolor Blue Chiffon Rose Oversized Floral Card

A beautiful butterfly has the ability to capture the imagination as they flutter from flower to flower in search of nectar. It is a special treat when they pause long enough for us to truly study them, and maybe even get lucky and snap a photo! 

The white peacock butterfly is native to the southeastern United States, Central America, and South America.

This yellow flower takes on a vintage, retro vibe with its pink marble filter. 

I took this photo early in the summer of 2023, and its yellow color and beautiful petals make me smile! I believe it is actually a brown-eyed susan, but with its filter and brown center, it certainly reminds me of the sunflowers I love (which typically bloom much later in the season). 

Customization suggestion: If you have a short name, I would suggest going into the template and changing the font size (just like you can do in a word processing document). I have made it a bit smaller here in order to accommodate longer names.

Sunflower Vintage Pink Wash Cloth

Self-reflection leads to self-discovery, and they are both a lifelong pursuit! "Who am I?" is a question we visit and revisit often throughout life. And this quote by Emily Dickinson captures that journey perfectly. 

Written in a letter to a friend, Dickinson was talking about the loss of some of her most important items on a move to her new home. She was, quite literally, out with a lantern looking for herself!

Of course, as a poet, her words take on another layer of meaning, and it is good to know that in our own discovery to find ourselves, we are in good company!
