Who am I? It is a question we visit and revisit often throughout life. And this quote by Emily Dickinson captures that journey perfectly. 

Written in a letter to a friend, Dickinson was talking about the loss of some of her most important items on a move to her new home. She was, quite literally, out with a lantern looking for herself!

Regardless, ever the poet, her words take on a second layer of meaning, and it is good to know that in our own journey, we are in good company!
