This hawksbill sea turtle "watercolor sketch" was originally a cell phone photograph I took at The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Columbus, Ohio. "Buddy" is a rescued sea turtle who suffered injuries that prevent her from thriving in the wild. She now swims happily in her new home alongside some manatee friends!

Two beautiful butterflies on one simple, rustic pillow. A beautiful butterfly in the garden has the ability to capture the imagination as they flutter from flower to flower in search of nectar. It is a special treat when they pause long enough for us to truly study them, and maybe even get lucky and snap a photo!

On the front, the White Peacock butterfly is native to the southeastern United States, Central America, and South America. The back image brings a bit of rainforest of Central and South America to your home with the Isabella's Longwing butterfly on a verbena flower.

Christmas Chipmunk and Winter Cardinal are ready to spread cheer in your home!
The chipmunk awaits the time when he can open his presents under the Christmas tree as he wears a Santa hat of his own!

I photographed this adorable chipmunk one day on my backyard steps as he came to eat some seeds I'd left nearby. His little paws looked like they were asking nicely for some more. Who could resist? 

The beautiful cardinal I actually captured in summer, but I love the way these birds (even the more brown, slightly duller in color female) brighten a cold winter day. I decided to share this experience with you by cutting out the original image and putting it on another of my photos featuring the pine tree in my backyard.

The chipmunk design is a photo cutout and edit, with the Christmas tree and hat used and manipulated with permission to fit the overall style of this wintery design.

The cardinal is a cut out, laid on the background of another of my photos and topped with a bit of lace, which was used with permission.
