A monarch butterfly sipping from a bright orange lily flower creates a striking scene against a clear blue sky. The monarch has a strong symbolic and spiritual meaning across many cultures, and is often revered as well for its gorgeous and bold orange and black color scheme.

This wildlife photo of a soft red male northern cardinal in early fall makes for a beautiful photo tile. The cardinal's autumn colors are subdued compared to his bright feathers in mid-summer in Ohio, and his extra plumage for winter warmth has made him just a bit more plump as well. 

This red bird amongst the leaves looks content and brings a smile to my face. I hope he will do the same for you in your kitchen or wherever you choose to display him!

Northern Cardinal in Tree in Early Autumn Trivet

The red male northern cardinal brightens my Ohio backyard no matter the time of year, but his bold summer color is something to behold as it sparkles in the sun against a beautiful leafy green background. No wonder he is the state bird of more states than any other bird!

The cardinal is "top bird" in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.

A bright male cardinal pauses for a moment on a backyard fence before enjoying some delicious nuts and seeds.

This photo illustration brings a whimsical feel to a natural winter scene that is perfect to enjoy while warm inside your home.

I photographed this cardinal one day in my backyard during the summer, but by cutting him out and placing him in front of a second photo of my pine tree and adding a filter, he fits the winter scene beautifully! Cardinals do visit my yard during winter and I sometimes photograph them during the season, but this bright red male is one of my favorite I've captured of the bird, and I wanted to share it with you.

Lions Vintage Pen Illustration Rustic Custom Notebook

This heart shaped Tiger Swallowtail butterfly sticker seal, pretty in its coloring of yellow and blue, is elegant and unique. This beautiful butterfly spent quite a bit of time in my backyard garden over the summer. And on this day, I was able to capture him as he moved from bloom to bloom gathering nectar from the flowers.
