We are so lucky to see squirrels throughout the year in our backyard. They make us laugh with their silly antics as they attempt to sneak up from behind the fence and raid the bird feeder 

I took the photo of this squirrel, but for the background, I couldn't resist looking for a photo with nuts! To me, he looks like he is saying, "For me?"

Add in the bright orange beak perfect for the safflower and sunflower seeds she will enjoy on this cold winter's day, and that plump chest rounded out with her additional winter plumage, and she could not be more cute. No wonder the colorful northern cardinal is the state bird of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia!

Pink Flamingo and Blue Watercolor Sticker Seal

Whimsical and wintery, this Christmas sticker seal features an owl in a forest with Christmas lights and snow. In a powdery snow, the words "Merry Christmas" wish the recipient of your gift or card a happy holiday season. 

This sticker seal matches a related card design in my shop. I hope you will check it out. 

I took the photo of this owl in late fall, so to create the image you see before you required several steps. A composite was created using an AI-generated woodland background, and on top of this, I used a soft overlay of snowflakes. For the lettering, I worked in Photoshop to select a strong but simple font and applied an action to outline it in "snow." I hope you love it!

Customizable design features a cute rabbit who found refuge in our backyard for much of the summer last year. On some days, I even found him sleeping behind our coneflowers with his back against the fence. 

Though we didn't see him much after the summer, I thought a cutout and reimagining of him for winter would be a cozy, cute reminder of the warmer months to come!

Written in a letter to a friend, Dickinson was talking about the loss of some of her most important items on a move to her new home. She was, quite literally, out with a lantern looking for herself!

Regardless, ever the poet, her words take on a second layer of meaning, and it is good to know that in our own journey, we are in good company!

This "Hope is the thing with feathers" Emily Dickinson motivational quote poster features a beautiful American Robin perched between the branches of a shrub filled with red berries against a stark winter sky. The bird is graceful and has its head held high, and I could not help but think it looked quite optimistic about this picturesque spot's potential to provide quite the delicious treat on this winter day!

The bird's feet clutching two different branches to balance his weight also remind me of nature's beauty -- what to me is a feat indeed looks so effortless for this feathered friend.
