Mother's Day Photo Gift From Adult Daughter  Plaque

A bright male cardinal pauses for a moment on a backyard fence before enjoying some delicious nuts and seeds.

This photo illustration brings a whimsical feel to a natural winter scene that is perfect to enjoy while warm inside your home.

I photographed this cardinal one day in my backyard during the summer, but by cutting him out and placing him in front of a second photo of my pine tree and adding a filter, he fits the winter scene beautifully! Cardinals do visit my yard during winter and I sometimes photograph them during the season, but this bright red male is one of my favorite I've captured of the bird, and I wanted to share it with you.
