This is a Silver Laced Cochin chick.  He or she is so pretty and is going to be huge when full grown.  It is such a sweet little chick and didn't seem to mind at all about having its photo taken in a little studio setting.  It just sat there looking pretty for me :)  I never force a chick to do something it doesn't want to do to get these photos.

Photography by Angelandspot 2008  One of the 3 Blue Hens in my flock.  They are just mixed breed hens but they are my favorite ones for their pretty blue color.  They aren't very tame though so you can't pick them up and carry them around like you can with my hen, Boots.
