These are 2 of my Blue/Gray chicks. They are both out of my Blue Andalusian crossbred hen.  They are about a week apart from each other but I put them together for a photo session and they got along great.  Photo is as is with no editing work done on it as all.

This is one of the four colored plates in the Book, "Rainy Day Stories" Subtitled "A Collection of Poems and Stories for Boys and Girls"  which includes 4 colored plates.  It was published by The Saalfield Publishing Company Chicago *Akron, Ohio * New York in 1915 which therefor makes it in the public domain.  I bought the book just for this image that I really like.  Be on the lookout in the future for more images from the book.

I was out walking in the pasture today and I am so glad I looked down when I did or I would have crushed these beautiful eggs.  They are Killdeer  eggs.  The momma came screaming at me and playing like she was hurt so I would follow her away from the nest.  They are such neat little birds.  I took a couple of photos of the pretty eggs quickly and then left the area.

I am not sure what kind of flower it is but I thought it was so pretty so I took some photos of it.  Someone drove past while I was down on my stomach taking photos and looked at my like I was crazy.  LOL
