This image of the planetary nebulae Kohoutek 4-55 was the last image from Hubble's Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2), and was released in May 2009.  Kohoutek 4-55 was named after discoverer, Czech astronomer Lubos Kohoutek.

The highway that winds through Lassen Volcanic National Park doesn't have the highest summit in California, but it is closed much of the year due to deep snow.
