jack and jill windmills, west sussex, UK. The 40ft (12m) structure and its sister windmill Jill stand on the South Downs above the village of Clayton. The windmill has five floors and was stripped of its machinery when it was retired in 1907. The six-bedroom Mill House, was built in 1963 by writer and golfing correspondent Henry Longhurst.
