The Washington Monument is an obelisk on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., built to commemorate the first American president, General George Washington. We took photographs of the waterfalls sightseeing when we decided to take a Wisconsin and Michigan loop trip. The state park has a nice campsite and is the second largest of Michigan's state parks. The Tahquamenon Falls include a single 50-foot (15-meter) drop, the Upper Falls, and the cascades and rapids collectively called the Lower Falls. The Upper Falls is one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi.
