Washington D.C. District of Columbia House Flag. Adopted	on October 15, 1938. The flag was three red stars above two red bars on a white background. District of Columbia is not a state, though some have made that proposal. It is where the United States Capital is.

The State of Tennessee House Flag has a blue circle with three white five-pointed stars on a rectangular field of red, with a strip of white and blue on the fly.

Delaware State House Flag. The flag of Delaware consists of a buff-colored diamond on a field of colonial blue, with the coat of arms of the state of Delaware inside the diamond. Below the diamond, the date shown of December 7, 1787, declares the day when Delaware became the first state to ratify the United States Constitution.

New Mexico state flag consists of a yellow field (background) with a Zia Indian sun in red as its central symbol. Officially adopted on March 15, 1925.

The Wyoming State Flag features a dark blue field bordered by white and red. In the center, there is a white silhouette of a bison with the state seal. Because this flag is double-sided, the back has been adjusted so that the buffalo faces the flag pole end and the state seal is readable.

West Virginia State Flag has a pure white field bordered on four sides by a stripe of blue with the coat of arms of West Virginia in the center, wreathed by Rhododendron maximum and topped by an unfurled red ribbon reading "State of West Virginia." The official flag proportion is 10:19, though it is adjusted to fit the product. Note that other stores might have the text reversed on the back side of the flag, but at Traveldestinations Designs, it is double-sided, ensuring that all text appears correctly on both sides.

The Texas State Flag is also known as the Lone Star Flag. One-third of the flag hoist is blue containing a single centered white star. The remaining field is divided horizontally into a white and red bar.

The official flag of Kansas consists of a dark blue rectangle arranged horizontally with the state seal aligned in the center. The state name "KANSAS" is printed below the seal. Above the seal is a sunflower sitting over a gold and light blue bar. The state seal tells the history of Kansas and pioneer life. The thirty-four stars clustered at the top of the seal signify that Kansas was the 34th state to be accepted into the Union of the United States.

Beautiful Alaskan Mountain View with Boat and a touch of sunburst in this photo. Alaska is the largest state in the United States by area. It is situated in the northwest extremity of the North American continent, with Canada to the east, the Arctic Ocean to the north, and the Pacific Ocean to the west and south, with Russia further west across the Bering Strait. Approximately half of Alaska's 710,231 residents live within the Anchorage metropolitan area. Alaska is the 49th state.

The Smithsonian Castle, located near the National Mall in Washington, D.C. behind the National Museum of African Art and the Sackler Gallery, houses the Smithsonian Institution's administrative offices and information center. The building is constructed of Seneca red sandstone in the faux Norman style (a 12th-century combination of late Romanesque and early Gothic motifs) and is nicknamed the Castle.
