Washington D.C. District of Columbia Car Flag. Adopted on October 15, 1938. The flag was three red stars above two red bars on a white background. District of Columbia is not a state, though some have made that proposal. Washington, DC, is the capital of the United States.

The flag of South Carolina features a blue background with a white palmetto tree and a white crescent moon. It was adopted on January 26, 1861.

Connecticut State Car Flag. The Connecticut State Flag has a white baroque shield with three grapevines, each bearing three bunches of purple grapes on a field of royal blue. The banner below the shield reads "Qui Transtulit Sustinet", Latin for "He who transplanted sustains", Connecticut's state motto. Adopted on September 9, 1897.

State of Colorado Car Flag has three horizontal stripes of blue, white, and blue. On top of these stripes sits a circular red "C", filled with a golden disk.

The New Jersey State Flag was adopted on May 11, 1896. It has a buff (light tan) background, with the state seal in the center. The design was created by Pierre Eugène Du Simitière and presented in May of 1777. The horse head on the seal symbolizes speed and strength, while the forward-facing helmet of a knight's suit of armor represents the sovereignty of a state that governs itself.

The flag of Washington features a dark green field with the state seal at the center, which includes a portrait of George Washington and the words "The Seal of the State of Washington 1889" inside a ring.

The flag of Nevada was adopted in 1991. It features a bright blue field with the state's emblem in the upper corner. The emblem consists of a large white star with the phrase "Battle Born" above it, which signifies the state's history of joining the Union during the Civil War. Below the star is the state name, "NEVADA," with sprigs of Goldenrod displayed underneath.

The flag of Michigan features a dark blue background and a state coat of arms. The coat of arms displays a blue shield with the sun rising over a lake and peninsula. A drawing of a man holding a long gun represents the fight for state and nation as a frontier state. The elk and moose on the coat of arms represent the great animals of Michigan, and the bald eagle represents the United States, which formed the state of Michigan from the Northwest Territory. A red ribbon that displays the motto of the United States, E Pluribus Unum ('Out of many, one').

The State of Minnesota will adopt a new flag on May 11th, 2024. The new flag will feature a large white star on a gradient background of light blue to dark blue.
