The flag of Pennsylvania has a blue field and was adopted on June 13, 1907. The state coat of arms design features a shield crested by a North American bald eagle, horses, and symbols of Pennsylvania's strengths. These symbols include a ship, a clay-red plow, three golden sheaves of wheat, an olive branch, and a cornstalk. The state motto is "Virtue, Liberty, and Independence".

Louisiana State Garden Flag. The flag of Louisiana consists of a rectangular field of blue with the arms of Louisiana, a pelican vulning herself, in white in the center, with a ribbon beneath, also in white, containing in blue the state motto: "Union Justice Confidence".

State of Colorado Car Flag has three horizontal stripes of blue, white, and blue. On top of these stripes sits a circular red "C", filled with a golden disk.

Puerto Rico Garden Flag of blue, red, and white with one large white star. The flags of Puerto Rico represent and symbolize the island and people of Puerto Rico. The most commonly used flags of Puerto Rico are the current flag, which represents the people of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; municipal flags, which represent the different regions of the island; political flags, which represent the political beliefs of the people; and sports flags, which identify Puerto Rico as the country represented by its athletics during competitions.

Blue & Yellow Ukraine Garden Flag

The flag of Missouri displays a horizontal tricolor of red, white, and blue. The Great Seal of Missouri is centered on the three bands. The Seal is surrounded by a broad blue band with 24 white stars. Two bears, symbolizing Missouri's native bears, support the center shield. A scroll carries the state motto, "Salus populi suprema lex esto", which is a Latin phrase that means "Let the welfare of the people be the supreme law."

Florida State Flag. The current flag of Florida features a red saltire on a white background, with the state seal in the center. This design has been in use since May 21, 1985, following improvements to the graphic design of the state seal.

The State of Kentucky Flag consists of the Commonwealth's seal on a navy blue field, surrounded by the words "Commonwealth of Kentucky" above and sprigs of goldenrod, the state flower, below.
