Lower Tahquamenon Falls Michigan Small Poster. Tahquamenon Falls State Park was our first stop for sightseeing when we decided to take a Wisconsin and Michigan loop trip. It was unfortunate that a stay at the campsite at Tahquamenon Falls was not in the plans. Tahquamenon Falls is the second largest of Michigan's state parks. The Tahquamenon Falls include a single 50-foot (15-meter) drop, the Upper Falls, and the cascades and rapids collectively called the Lower Falls. The Upper Falls is one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi. These are pictures we took while vacationing in Michigan (plus one).
