The design of the Illinois flag is inspired by the Great Seal of Illinois, which was first created in 1819. The seal features an eagle holding a banner in its beak that displays the state motto: "State Sovereignty, National Union." The dates on the seal are 1818 and 1868, representing the year Illinois became a state and the year the Great Seal was redesigned. The flag's background color is white.

Hoover Dam, once known as Boulder Dam, is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the US states of Arizona and Nevada. It was constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and was dedicated on September 30, 1935, by President Franklin Roosevelt. Its construction was the result of a massive effort involving thousands of workers, and cost over one hundred lives. The dam was controversially named after President Herbert Hoover.

Pea Ridge National Military Park Travel Mug

The flag of the state of Idaho consists of the state seal on a field of blue. The words “State of Idaho” appear in gold letters on a red and gold band below the seal. According to the official description of the flag, there should also be a fringe of gold around the edges, but a long time ago the versions of the flag were not shown until they remodeled the flag after War. The seal, in the center of the flag, depicts a miner and a woman representing equality, liberty and justice. The symbols on the seal represent some of Idaho’s natural resources: mines, forests, farmland, and wildlife.

The Hawaiian Islands are an archipelago of eight major islands, several atolls, numerous smaller islets, and undersea sea mounts in the North Pacific Ocean, extending some 1,500 miles from the island of Hawaii in the south to northernmost Kure Atoll. Excluding Midway, which is an unincorporated territory within the United States Minor Outlying Islands, the Hawaiian Islands form the U.S. state of Hawaii. Once known as the "Sandwich Islands", the archipelago now takes its name from the largest island in the cluster. Arizona is one beautiful state with many attractions. Even the state flag is colorful.

 Everyone loves to travel. Personally, I would love to travel to all 50 states and explore outside countries. Since I am from America, I will try to get the best of each state. Then adding from places like Europe and the down under would complete this shop. We took photographs of the waterfalls sightseeing when we decided to take a Wisconsin and Michigan loop trip. The state park has a nice campsite and is the second largest of Michigan's state parks. The Tahquamenon Falls include a single 50-foot (15-meter) drop, the Upper Falls, and the cascades and rapids collectively called the Lower Falls. The Upper Falls is one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park is our photograph on a Wisconsin and Michigan loop trip. It was unfortunate that a stay at the campsite at Tahquamenon Falls was not in the plans. Tahquamenon Falls is the second largest of Michigan's state parks.
