The flag of Pennsylvania has a blue field and was adopted on June 13, 1907. The state coat of arms design features a shield crested by a North American bald eagle, horses, and symbols of Pennsylvania's strengths. These symbols include a ship, a clay-red plow, three golden sheaves of wheat, an olive branch, and a cornstalk. The state motto is "Virtue, Liberty, and Independence".

Hawaii State Flag has eight alternating horizontal white, red, and blue stripes, with the United Kingdom's Union Flag in the top corner. The flag ratio is 4:7. The flag of the U.S. state of Mississippi was redesigned and adopted in 2021. The flag features a white magnolia blossom surrounded by 21 stars, with the words 'In God We Trust' written below. These elements are set over a blue Canadian pale with two vertical gold borders on a red field. The topmost star has a pattern of five diamonds, representing an Indigenous symbol. The remaining 20 stars are white, symbolizing Mississippi as the 20th state.
