Coat of Arms of the Holy See and Vatican City. The emblem features a red background with two crossed keys, shaped like the Cross of St. Andrew. One key is gold, the other is silver, and both have their cotter pointed upwards and towards the sides of the shield. Two cords hang from the grips of the keys, usually red or blue. The shield is topped by a tiara or triregnum.
