The lighter is finished in a muted olive-green matte, and on its front face is a richly colored, vintage-poster–style illustration of San Francisco’s famous Lombard Street. In the foreground, lush clusters of white and pale-yellow hydrangeas spill over brick-paved curves. Behind them, a dark-green compact car navigates the street’s switchbacks, which wind down past manicured hedges and terraced gardens. Flanking the road are pastel-toned rowhouses with wrought-iron balconies and arched doorways. A lone palm tree rises mid-scene, and beyond the houses you can make out the city’s rolling hills. In the distance, Coit Tower stands sentinel atop Telegraph Hill, and faintly on the horizon you can just discern the towers of the Golden Gate Bridge under a soft, golden sky.
