This strange fungi, called the stinkhorns, is a foul-scented, phallus-shaped mushroom.  The tips of these stinky mushrooms are covered with slimy, black, spore-containing liquid that attracts flies which in turn spread the spore. 

I took this picture in Wisconsin. Hope you as mushroom enthusiasts enjoy it too!
