As a Rule I Don't Follow the Rules

As a rule, I don't follow the rules. Meaning, I make it a point not to follow the rules. Or, I live by one rule: Don't follow the rules. Do you know people like that? If you tell them they have to do something, they will do the opposite, just on principle.
