This soft red male northern cardinal waits his turn at the nearby feeder in a local park in early fall. His autumn colors are subdued compared to his bright feathers in mid-summer, and his extra plumage for winter warmth has made him just a bit more plump as well. 

This red bird amongst the leaves looks content and brings a smile to my face. I hope he will do the same for you!

This cute rabbit found refuge in our backyard for much of the summer last year. On some days, I even found him sleeping behind our coneflowers with his back against the fence.
