I photographed this sweet squirrel one day on the path behind my house. I loved the way his tail wrapped the branch above him. To play up the cold of this late autumn day, I adjusted the colors to suggest the coming winter with cool shades of grays and purples. To soften him, a watercolor effect on both the photo and in the background complete the design. I hope you enjoy it!

Watercolor Pink Flowers Any Occasion Note Card

A hawksbill sea turtle on a beautiful aqua blue watercolor background is the star of this unique all-occasion notecard. It is always helpful to have some blank greeting cards available for any occasion that may arise. Write a note to a friend to let her know you are thinking of her, or send a thank you to your coworkers for remembering your birthday!

This design was created from a cell phone picture I took in the aquarium at my local zoo. I loved the image of this impressive hawksbill sea turtle but did not enjoy the reflections in the glass, which included me taking the photo and the other people behind me! To showcase this gorgeous creature, I cut out the image, edited to eliminate as many reflections as I could, and applied various filters to create a more artistic, watercolor painting effect. I love the results and the way they capture this amazing animal with beautiful accents of blue and purple.
