Yellow and Blue Lion Mascot Paper Party Square Paper Coaster

This round, yellow and brown flower coaster reveals the simple, whimsical appeal of the brown-eyed susan. It is a native flower to much of the east and midwest United States, and it belongs to the Rudbeckia family just like the more well-known black-eyed susan and coneflower species.   

I myself had never heard of a brown-eyed susan until recently, when I spotted one in a friend's backyard and said the big, colorful blooms looked like something out of Munchkinland in Oz!  I knew I had to photograph some of these happy, gorgeous flowers. 

The bright yellow petals of this beautiful flower make me smile, and I hope this coaster will bring a little sunshine to your day as well!

Monarch Butterfly on Native Wildflower Nature  Jigsaw Puzzle

A hawksbill sea turtle on a beautiful aqua blue watercolor background is the star of this unique all-occasion flat note card. Write a note to a friend to let her know you are thinking of her, or send a thank you to your coworkers for remembering your birthday!

This note card may also be appreciated as a small home decor item. 

This design was created from a cell phone picture I took in the aquarium at my local zoo. I loved the image of this impressive hawksbill sea turtle but did not enjoy the reflections in the glass, which included me taking the photo and the other people behind me! To showcase this gorgeous creature, I cut out the image, edited to eliminate as many reflections as I could, and applied various filters to create a more artistic, watercolor painting effect. I love the results and the way they capture this amazing animal with beautiful accents of blue and purple. 

When ordering your card, be sure to update the customization on the back, which suggests including your name and year for the card. For many years, I have recorded the holiday or occasion on the back of cards I give (and often those I receive) to more easily track time. I hope you will find this additional spot helpful if you'd like to do the same! You can also erase this text if you prefer so that your card is timeless.

When I was a teacher, I would also fold these in half and stick other papers inside as a makeshift folder to keep separate projects organized on the go.
