When I first approached, I thought this bumble bee might be napping. Upon further inspection, I could tell he was pollinating. He was moving slowly, though, so a nap may not have been far off!

I photographed this cardinal one day in my backyard during the summer, but by cutting him out and placing him in front of a second photo of my pine tree and adding a filter, he fits the winter scene beautifully! Cardinals do visit my yard during winter and I sometimes photograph them during the season, but this bright red male is one of my favorite I've captured of the bird, and I wanted to share it with you.

I photographed this adorable chipmunk one day on my backyard steps as he came to eat some seeds I'd left nearby. His little paws looked like they were asking nicely for some more. Who could resist? 

This design is a photo cutout and edit, with the Christmas tree and hat used and manipulated with permission to fit the overall style of this wintery design.
