A vibrant purple iris on a bright spring green background in a watercolor style beautifully fills one side, and a fencerow of purple irises and budding peonies on the other side is perfect for springtime. 

The iris "watercolor" style was created in Photoshop from my original photography. When I think of spring, two of the colors I envision most are purple and green. I hope you will enjoy this beautiful bag as much as I enjoyed making it for you!

Siberian Iris and Budding Peonies Purple and Green Grocery Bag

A blue chiffon rose of sharon on a soft purple background in a watercolor style beautifully fills one side, and a hot pink peony with vibrant green leaves fills the back of this sturdy reusable grocery bag.

Watercolor Blue Chiffon Rose and Pink Peony  Grocery Bag

This round, yellow and brown flower coaster reveals the simple, whimsical appeal of the brown-eyed susan. It is a native flower to much of the east and midwest United States, and it belongs to the Rudbeckia family just like the more well-known black-eyed susan and coneflower species.   

I myself had never heard of a brown-eyed susan until recently, when I spotted one in a friend's backyard and said the big, colorful blooms looked like something out of Munchkinland in Oz!  I knew I had to photograph some of these happy, gorgeous flowers. 

The bright yellow petals of this beautiful flower make me smile, and I hope this coaster will bring a little sunshine to your day as well!

A cute family of young squirrels peeks between the green leaves from their home in the hollow of a tree in springtime. I love taking photo walks in nature in the spring, admiring the growing "busy-ness" of the woods as each day new creatures appear and plants wake up from their winter nap. Even so, this sight was quite unexpected, and I count myself lucky to have spent a few minutes with this little family that morning.
