Rose has various opacity shading on its petals. The background of a circular rainbow (warmer yellow/orange/red colors), gives the large central blossom the yellow, white and green petals. The smaller flowers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions are in the orange, red, and pink areas, so their petals are in shades of pink.

"Quilting Time" is a faux stitched text at top and bottom of the clock face. Quilt block in brown and blue "castle" pattern. The central "castle" is a brown star shape, surrounded by the "6 sided wall" with the "watch towers" extending out from the middle of the walls. The points of the "wall" mark the 1-12 number positions on the clock.
