Santa ornament was originally packaging for holiday candy, saved as a family holiday ornament (nearly 100 years old).
The mesh candy bag serves as the body of Santa. The celluloid face has great detail.Hands are also celluloid. The boots and buttons are black, with red hat, sleeves and legs. Cotton replaces the candy for the body.
