It's a square bag, the Medium Size Shoulder Tote Bag measures 16"x16" (about 41 x 41 cm), and the Large size is 18"x18" (abt 46x46 cm), the strap for both sizes measures 28" (about 71 cm). 

Should you opt for the cross-body bag the sizes are the same except for the strap that will be longer, measuring 43" (about 109 cm). The cross over bag also has three interior pockets, one of them zipped.
