This is an image from the book "Easy To Read" Copyright, 1882. D. Lothrop & Co. Boston Mass. The book is over 100 years old so all the pages have that perfect patina to them. Some pages have stains but that only adds to the character and charm. I love really old books.  I love this image of the dogs jumping into the water and going to the rescue.
