Here is a photo of my real chicks with some fake eggs.  I thought it would look cute.  No chickens were harmed in the making of these photos.

This is an image from a 1905 edition of Black Beauty. It is "An Adaption for the Little Folks of ANNA SEWELL'S Autobiography of a Horse" by Edgar Lee. Illustrated by Harry Lambright Miller. And Published in 1905 by The Sallfield Publishing Company of Akron, Ohio with offices also in Chicago and New York.
