This is Boots during a photo session.  I do not make these chicks do anything.  I just set up a little area and put the chicks down in the area and take photos of them doing whatever.  I thought the expression on her face says, "You Looking at me?"  Boots is a really great little hen.  She is a Bantam Easter Egger Chicken that was hatched in May of 2008.  She lays green eggs.

The book is over 100 years old so all the pages have that perfect patina to them. Some pages have stains as you can see in the corner of this image but that only adds to the character and charm. I love really old books.
