I think this is just adorable. It came from McFadden Language Series :Grammar and Composition by Effie B. McFadden Copyright 1915 by Rand McNally & Company.  There were only 4 color plates in this book and the rest is just a lot of school work.  The book was used by students in Washington, IA for several years.  They have all signed their names inside the cover of this book.  I'd say it was a very well used book.
